Our little guy Jack celebrated his fourth birthday a few weeks ago surrounded by family, friends and neighbours. We had 18 kids in our home ages 8 months to 13 years old, several adults who were all willing to lend a helping hand and 1 amazing Superhero! - from My Perfect Superhero Party
We hired the first party company to call us back 2 weeks prior to the celebration...normally I'm someone who likes to read a lot of reviews or at the very least make my decision based on a friend's recommendation, but this time I was feeling desperate and time was definitely a constraint. So I just kept my fingers crossed and hoped for the best. I'll be honest, I was a little concerned because the company we hired last year took a deposit...and this company didn't. I kept thinking to myself how horrible it would be if our Superhero didn't show up, how would I entertain 18 kids? More importantly, who would I convince to wear spandex and pretend he was Captain America?
In the end everything seemed to work out as planned. The real Captain America was the perfect addition to our little guy's party. He managed to entertain all the kiddies (young and old), and most certainly impressed us with his grand entrance! He literally sprinted down the street, into our court and instantly captured the attention of all our guests. Some of them couldn't even believe their eyes. Even Jack who had just fallen and scraped his knee, wiped off enough tears and held his head high, in time for Captain America to acknowledge him as the very special birthday boy.
From the moment he arrived until his final departure, he amazed and delighted the minds of all who attended. He played games with them, gave them all honorary superhero tattoos, taught everyone martial arts and participated in the singing of Happy Birthday. Despite a few minor battle wounds, he helped us to create memories I'm sure all the kids will never forget.
