A New Year

Happy New Year!  A couple weeks ago I was scrolling through Facebook on my phone (I still haven't bought a computeršŸ¤£) and this message popped up... I literally laughed outloud because all too often I've been able to relate.  January has always been that month that feels like it's never going to end.  Looking back I can recall several days being stuck indoors in the middle of winter, with four little ones, trying to keep them busy and reminding myself that one day I'm going to miss all of this.  Some days, definitely more than others seemed endless. This year I was grateful to start back to work almost immediately following the Christmas break.  As a supply teacher it's not always predictable but I couldn't have been happier when I was called in to work on the first Monday back.  And even better, it was at the school where I usually spend most of my days.  Just being able to catch up with the staff and students most certainly lightened my mood a
