In the fall my brother and his girlfriend bought their first home and I couldn't have been more excited for them.  Aside from the fact that I was obviously very happy my brother had finally met "the one", and now they were ready to embark on a new chapter in their lives together...I was also sort of thinking, this is amazing because now we officially have a place to stay in Montreal:) Quebec has always been a place I've loved traveling to.  My mom was born there, as well as my half sister, so I've always felt that connection as far back as I can remember.  My half brother and sister are still living there today, and much of their extended family (their mom, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins).  It's been years since I've spent any quality time in Quebec, but now that my brother has decided to settle down, I'm looking forward to spending a lot more time visiting and reconnecting with the people and places I used to love so much. After sorting through the photos from Balsam last week, I figured I would just keep going.  It was actually really fun to look back over all of our pictures from last summer, pick my favourites and finally begin to edit them.  The kiddies enjoyed it too, and now that we're finally over the hump of winter we can hardly wait for the warmer weather, longer days and loads of sunshine! With March Break here and some warmer weather, I've been starting to think a lot about summer.  Just last week a friend of mine was asking about the cottage resort we have been going to for the past couple of years...right away I thought of my Blog!  I'll just search the entry I made last August and that way I can show her all the photos from our trip.  That's when I realized, I never even made an entry.  So I figured it was time...better late than never!  Here are some of my favourite photos from our week at Balsam Resort in 2018.  With spring just around the corner, the kiddies are already counting down the number of weeks until we return.  Now my Blog is a place they can visit whenever they feel like it...
