The Tradition Continues at Blue

We continued our tradition this year and headed up to Blue Mountain over the Christmas break, although it almost didn’t happen for a number of reasons.   It seemed like nothing was going our way… then thankfully in the final hours everything fell into place (like it was meant to be).   But we only had a few hours left to get ready!   Friday morning arrived bright and early and the kiddies were beyond excited, which made trying to leave our home even more challenging.   Regardless we managed to get out the door in good time and upon arrival we were ready and eager to begin our day.   Everything went as smoothly as could be. In my last blog I mentioned how sometimes I get feeling a little down after the holidays and ringing in the new year has never brought me much joy…but spending the day at Blue Mountain with my family, one of my besties and our neighbours was exactly what I needed to kick start the new year. Happy New Year

Happy New Year!  To be honest I'm not one that loves the idea of a new year...I always feel like I'm still trying to get over the letdown of Christmas coming to an end, and once January 1st arrives - then it's really over.  I still manage to enjoy New Years Eve and every year we host a great party, but then the reality sets in and it usually takes me a few days (more like a week) before my outlook on the new year ahead takes a turn for the better.  And I definitely don't set new year resolutions (right away that is). That being said, I'm happy to announce my mindset has already started to shift in the right direction and I'm feeling really excited about the year ahead.  Spending the most beautiful day at Blue Mountain last week with my family and friends was exactly what I needed to jump start 2019.  Since then I've tried to focus on the things I have to look forward to this year and the things I hope to accomplish (those new year resolutions an
