Happy 6th Anniversary

Happy Canada Day!

So just like last year I wanted to share some photos from the summer we got married. These photos were taken just a couple weeks after our wedding on the shores of Georgian Bay. The photography session was referred to as a "Trash the Dress" photo shoot. While I didn't exactly trash my dress, I did manage to get it completely covered in sand. But a quick little shake-off the following day and it was as good as new.

It was such a fun evening. We managed to get some beautiful shots and our cousins Henry and Julia who couldn't be with us on our wedding day were able to participate in the shoot. So many great memories and look at baby Hudson! What a little cutie...just weeks later I became pregnant with Georgia!

Happy Anniversary to the best guy I could have ever asked for...12 years together, 6 years married, 1 dog, 4 kids and a countless number of memories xo

To My Grandpa on his 100th Birthday

On Sunday my grandfather turned 100 and we had a beautiful celebration. I promise to post photos from the event once they are ready...I can hardly wait to see them! Today I decided to share my speech completely unaltered. On A Positive Note

I hope everyone is staying home and staying healthy. What an unbelievable time we are living in right now. Most days seem completely manageable, but some days I question if I'm even going to make to the next🤔. Despite this crazy, chaotic, some days memorable, other days questionable, and needless to say - an unforgettable period in our lives, I have managed to recognize some of the more positive things...in no particular order. 1. My kids can and do eat peanut butter every single day for lunch #noallergies #winning 2. After being a stay at home mom for the majority of the past 9 years, I was questioning if I was really ready to step back into my career as a teacher...it's only day 23 of this quarantine - but yup it's been determined, I am definitely ready to go back to work. 3. Easter 2020

Wishing everyone a wonderful Easter in quarantine! So Friday morning I actually made my kids dress up and do a quick photoshoot on our front porch. Just because we're not celebrating with family this year, doesn't mean all of our traditions have to be put on hold😜 My two girls were pretty excited to wear new matching dresses, so I didn't have any issues getting them ready. My little guy Jack loves putting gel in his hair, so he was pretty easy to convince as well. As for my oldest, he absolutely hates getting dressed up for anything, so basically I gave him an ultimatum...extra schoolwork next week or a few pictures - and you have to smile! He obviously went with the second choice (and he gave me the best smile ever) ha!
